Art and I had just had a major argument.
So I sat on my bedroom floor, picked up the guitar (as any devoted emo would do) and started to tinker.
On hearing the guitar part and beginnings of a melody, Art popped his head around the corner and we forgot the fight and got on with writing the song. We finished it that day.
It's the only song we have ever written with a key change in it.
